About Dr. Steven Pierson

Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Steven Pierson spent years growing up in Sierra Leone, West Africa where his parents were medical missionaries. He graduated with honors from Indiana Wesleyan University with a bachelors degree in biology. Dr. Pierson then earned a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Indiana University School of Dentistry and has been serving your friends and neighbors in the Miami Valley since 2007. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, Western Ohio Dental Society, and the Christian Dental Society. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

About Dr. Michelle Furst

Doctor of Dental Surgery

Dr. Furst was born and raised in Dayton, OH. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery at The Ohio State University. She prides herself on the importance of education in order to provide her patients the highest quality of care. She is skilled in many aspects of dentistry from comprehensive routine dental care to cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, and Botox Cosmetics. It is her goal to make sure every patient is treated with compassion and care, emphasizing on building relationships with her patients.

Dr. Furst enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and son. She is always seen cheering on her Ohio State Buckeyes during football season with her husband and sons.

Brandi

Dental Hygienist

Brandi started her dental career in 1996 as a Dental Assistant, and then graduated with her Dental Hygiene degree in 1999. She is passionate about her work and strives to provide her patients with the best possible experience from the time they walk in the door to the end of their appointment. Brandi has a beautiful daughter, Kinley, who attends Ohio University. In her free time, Brandi enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and vacationing at the beach. She is beyond excited to be a part of the West Milton Family Dental team.

Cali

Dental Hygienist

Cali is a Certified Dental Assistant, Expanded Function Dental Assistant and a Registered Dental Hygienist – receiving her degrees from Sinclair, and The University of Cincinnati. She has been in dentistry since 2006. Her favorite part about dentistry is educating patients about all of their dental needs/questions and developing long lasting relationships. In her free time, Cali enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching sports, and playing with her Black Lab, Maverick, and Chocolate Lab, Bear.

Janell

Dental Hygienist

Janell graduated from Sinclair Community College in 2011 with an Associate’s degree in dental hygiene. Janell loves getting to know her patients and helping them boost their confidence. Originally from Shelby county, Janell resides in Houston with her husband Brett, five children, and German Shepherd, Xena. Outside of dentistry, Janell enjoys being outdoors, spending time with family seeing her children grow, gardening, and coaching soccer.

Nikea

Dental Hygienist

Nikea started working in dentistry during high school. She graduated from Sinclair Community College in 2003 with a degree in Dental Hygiene.  Nikea is passionate about helping her patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles! She really enjoys getting to know her patients personally, catching up with them at their routine visits. She is a long term resident of Tipp City where she resides with her husband, Jeff, and three children – Bo, Sloane and Dane.

Shannon

Dental Hygienist

Shannon is a Dental Hygientist. She graduated from Sinclair Community College in 2012. She has been in dentistry since 2008. Her favorite thing about dentisty is supporting her patients in creating a beautiful, healthy smile. She loves what she does and getting to know her patients. She resides in Covington with her husband, Corey, and three children, Olivia, Carter and Hayes, and dog, Izzy. In her spare time she likes to garden, travel, and spend time watching her children in their numerous hobbies and activities.

Christina

Dental Hygienist

Christina began her dental career in 2010 as a Dental Assistant. Then in 2018, she graduated with her Dental Hygiene degree. She loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident. Christina, along with her husband Dylan, and three children, Mason, Avrie and Noah all reside in Pleasant Hill. She enjoys interior design and decorating, along with going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends.

Julie

Dental Hygienist

Julie began her dental career in 2014 as a Dental Assistant. Then in 2018, she graduated with her Dental Hygiene degree. She loves being a Hygienist – getting to know her patients personally and making every patient feel comfortable and valued. Julie loves spending time with her family and keeps busy running around with her husband Nick, and their two daughters, Leah and Laura.

Kaitlyn

Dental Hygienist

Kaitlyn is a Registered Dental Hygienist that attended Sinclair Community College, and also has a Bachelor’s in Communications from the University of Cincinnati. She has been in dentistry since 2013. Her favorite part of being a hygienist is creating a trusting relationship with her patients, and educating them on how to improve their overall oral health. In her free time, Kaitlyn loves spending time with her husband and her fur babies; Phoebe, Captain and Todd. She also enjoys going to concerts, reading and playing roller derby.

Jennifer

Dental Hygienist

Jennifer graduated from Shawnee State University with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2006. Jennifer is passionate about her career. She loves building relationships with her patients, and helping them achieve beautiful, healthy smiles! Jennifer resides in Troy with her husband, two kids, Kolston and Eisley, and dog, Toby. Jennifer enjoys supporting her kids in their sporting activities and hobbies, as well as traveling and hiking!

Cassidy

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Cassidy is native of the Miami valley, graduating from Troy High School and Sinclair Community College. She holds dental Licenses in the following areas: Radiology, Sealants, Coronal Polishing and Expanded Function Dental Assisting (EFDA). Cassidy enjoys rebuilding smiles as well as farming with her husband, two sons and two dogs, Ginger and Jagger.

Jen

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Jen resides in West Milton with her spouse, Mike. She has two grown children, and two granddaughters, Ella and Dottie. She loves spending time with her family, friends or reading a good book snuggled up with a warm cup of coffee. Jen has been in dentistry for over 20 years! She loves helping patients achieve a healthy, beautiful smile.

Kendall

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Kendall is a West Milton native and currently lives in Tipp City. Starting her journey in dentistry in 2012 and receiving her EFDA certification in 2016. She strives to make patients have a comfortable experience at the dentist! Kendall enjoys spending time with her husband, Chris and kids – Emery and Grayson.

Autumn

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant

Autumn is a Union native and currently resides in Tipp City. She began her career in dentistry in 2015 and earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification from Sinclair Community College in 2020. Autumn is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during dental visits, and she strives to create a positive experience for every patient. Outside of the office, Autumn enjoys reading, hiking, and spending quality time with her husband, their daughter Hazel, and their three miniature dachshunds-Peanut, Minnie, and Maple.

Amber

Administrative Staff

Amber graduated from Edison State Community College with an Associates Degree in Medical Office Management. After spending eleven years in the medical field, she landed a position in the dental field in 2007. Amber enjoys spending time with her family, reading, yoga, gardening, taking walks and bike rides.

Deanna

Administrative Staff

Deanna joined the team in 2013. She lives in West Milton with her husband, Steve, two sons, Greyson and Collin, and their dog, Molly. She enjoys getting to know patients through their visits to the office. With extensive training in insurance and treatment coordination, she is happy to answer any questions you may have on maximizing your dental benefits, about our office or your upcoming appointment. In her free time, Deanna enjoys reading, visiting amusement parks, and cheering her sons from the sidelines at either the Football Field or on the Basketball Court.

Mary Beth

Administrative Staff

Mary Beth received her medical office management degree from Sinclair Community College, and has been in the medical field for over thirty years. She loves spending time with her family, her girls and her grandbabies. She loves going kayaking, and riding the bike trail with her husband. She also loves doing yardwork and being outside. She enjoys greeting patients making them feel comfortable when they come in, and she enjoys keeping the office neat and tidy.
